June 15th – 2 to 4 - Open Lab - No fee.
June 19th – 2 to 4 - Digital Photos – Transferring & Uploading. $5 fee.
June 26th – 2 to 4 - Open Lab – No fee.
July 6th – 2 to 4 – Web Design - $5 fee.
July 10th – 2 to 4 - Buying and Selling on E-bay - $5 fee.
July 17th – 10 to 12 – Open Lab. No fee.
July 27th – Intro. to Word - $5 fee.

Story Time
Story Time for children ages 3 to 5 meets each Wednesday at 11am, in the children's room. Join us for stories,
crafts, and fun!!

Meets each Tues. at 6:30. New members always welcome!


Craft Fair Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the library's annual craft fair on August 11th from 9am to 3pm. Spaces are 10 foot by 10 foot. The fee is $10 per space. You must provide your own table, and side less weather protection. To have an application sent to you, please call 649-5454.

Annual Art and Antique Auction
Lyme Free Library is once again gearing up for our annual art and antique auction. Bids will be taken from June through the Book Sale on August 11th. This year the auction will feature hand blown glass, a cross stich sampler, painted furniture, and lots more. If you are a local artist or collector and would like to donate an item, please call the library at 649-5454.

Pop Art Extravaganza – Sunday, July 8th3 to 6 pm. Registration Required. Call 649-5454. Bring a colorful cereal box. Children must be accompanied by an adult

Jefferson Community College offers Camps for Kids at Lyme Free Library: Journalism & Photoshop, camps will be offered in July and August:
SuperLayers: Adobe Photoshop – Monday, July 30, 2012 – Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day. Students will learn to use Adobe Photoshop to alter images. Participants will learn to use tools including brush tools, filters, colors, and shapes, and will learn to create new images from existing images. Cost is $20.

Jr. Journalists 101 (Ages 9 – 12) – Tuesday, August 21, 2012 – Friday, August 24, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day. Junior Journalists are invited to this week long kid's workshop through Jefferson Express at the Lyme Free Library. Junior Journalists will learn the basics of Journalism 101 and create their own newsletter to share with community friends and family. Cost is $20.

Dr. Laurie Rush, Fort Drum's cultural resource manager & archaeologist, will present a program on Native Americans of the Northern New York Region on July 31st at 7 pm.
