Notice Concerning the Examination of Assessment Inventory And Valuation Data(Pursuant to Section 501 of the Real Property Tax Law)

Notice is hereby given that assessment inventory and valuation data is available for examination and review.  This data is the information which will be used to establish the assessment of each parcel which will appear on the Tentative Assessment Roll of the Town of Lyme which will be filed on or before May 1st, 2022. The information may be reviewed, by appointment, in the Assessor’s Office at 12175 NYS RT 12E Chaumont, NY 13622 on May 5, May 9 and May 16, 2022. Between the hours of 10am and 2pm and on May 21, 2022 between the hours of 4pm and 8pm. An appointment to review the assessment information may be made by telephoning the assessor at (315) 649-2387.

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Lyme County of Jefferson, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, that a copy thereof has been left with the Town Clerk at 12175 NYS RT 12E Chaumont, NY 13622 where is may be seen and examined by any person interested therein during the hours and dates following: May 5th, May 9th and May 16th between 10 a.m. & 2 p.m. May 21st between 4 p.m. & 8 p.m. On “FOURTH TUESDAY OF MAY NEXT,” The Board of Assessment Review will meet between the hours of 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Town of Lyme Office to hear and examine all complaints in relation to such assessments, on the application of any person believing himself aggrieved hereby.

​Town of Lyme Mowing Specs Ball Fields and Abandoned Cemeteries – 2022

The Town of Lyme will be accepting a one year bid for the 2022 mowing season.  
 
* Abandoned Cemeteries (7) mowed, trimmed and cleaned up by Memorial Day. Mowed and trimmed once every two weeks thereafter until September 15th.
 
* NYS Route 12E Ball Fields and Grounds - Mowed twice weekly (preferably Mondays & Wednesdays before 4 p.m.) and trimmed once a week from May 1st thru July 31st and mowed once a week thereafter until October 15th.
 
* G. Spence Donaldson Memorial Field (Morris Tract Road) Ball Field and Grounds - mowed and trimmed twice a week May 1st-July 31st and once a week until September 30th (preferably on Monday).
 
Quotes will be accepted until the closing of business on Monday April 11, 2022 and can be mailed to the Town Clerk's Office, PO Box 66 Chaumont, NY 13622 or dropped off at the Town Offices at 12175 NYS Route 12E, Chaumont, NY. The awarded Lawn Care Professional must supply own equipment, maintenance and fuel. Proof of liability insurance of at least one million dollars must be provided. Quotes will be reviewed and awards will be made during the Regular Town Board Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

The Town of Lyme will be accepting a one year bid for the 2022 mowing season. This will be mowing, trimming and general pick up (twigs/branches) of the Three Mile Bay Cemetery. Anyone submitting a quote must review the Cemetery with Three Mile Bay Cemetery Superintendent, Julia Gosier (315-649-5452), prior to submittal. The Cemetery must be in excellent shape for Memorial and Labor Day weekends. Other mowing will be on a judgment basis between the awarded Lawn Care Professional and Superintendent Gosier. The awarded Lawn Care Professional must supply their own equipment, maintenance and fuel. Proof of liability insurance of at least one million dollars must be provided. Quotes will be accepted until the closing of business at 4:00 p.m. on April 11, 2022 and mailed to the Town Clerk's Office, PO Box 66, Chaumont, NY 13622, or dropped off at the Town Offices at 12175 NYS Route 12E, Chaumont, NY 13622.
