NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Lyme shall conduct a public hearing on December 9, 2020 at the Chaumont Fire Hall located at 11385 NYS Route 12E, Chaumont, NY, Jefferson County, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the adoption of a Local Law to establish a moratorium for a period of six (6) months on applications and/or construction of Recreational Vehicle Developments, Campgrounds and Marinas in the Town of Lyme to permit the Town Board of the Town of Lyme sufficient time to conduct a review of the current laws and enact revisions if deemed appropriate.
 
A full text of the local law is available on the Town’s website and at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.  Written comments may be submitted to the Town Board regarding the proposed moratorium anytime from the date of this notice until the time of the hearing, either by mail or by delivering to the drop box at the Clerk’s office.  In addition, comments may be made telephonically to Ariana Henderson at (315) 649-2788. Any comments received will be read into the record of the hearing and  considered by the Town Board.
